Meaning and example :
Meaning: Indicates an action of a subject oriented towards many different objects; indicates the similarity of an activity, property… of a subject compared with another subject; indicates the properties of different states or activities that occur at the same time.
Note: We can use the following forms:
+ Cũng vậy: Indicates the similarity in comparison with something mentioned before.
+ Cũng được: Expresses relative agreement.
+ Cũng như…/cũng…như…: Indicates the similarity of something when comparing it with another thing.
+ Cũng nên: Expresses a guess about something that might happen.
Example:
Tôi thích ăn thịt, và cũng thích ăn cá. (Biểu thị sự đồng nhất về hành động của một chủ thể hướng đến nhiều đối tượng)
I like eating meat, and also like eating fish. (Indicates an action of a subject oriented towards many different objects)
Vì anh ấy không đi, nên tôi cũng không đi. (Biểu thị sự giống nhau về hoạt động, tính chất… giữa các chủ thể với nhau)
Because he don’t go, I don’t go either. (Indicates the similarity of an activity, property… of a subject compared with another subject)
