Meaning and example :

Meaning: Expresses an object or a domain that is not included.

Note: We can use the following forms: ngoài…ra / còn / cũng…nữa; ngoài…chỉ…

Example:

Anh không yêu ai khác ngoài em.
I don’t love anyone else but you.

Ngoài hát hay ra, anh ấy còn vẽ rất đẹp.
Besides singing well, he paints very well.

Tôi thích ăn cá. Ngoài ra, tôi cũng rất thích ăn thịt.
I like fish dishes. Besides that, I also like meat dishes.
