Meaning and example :

Meaning: Used to express the limits of the sphere, degree or uniqueness of things or actions.

Note: We can use the following forms: có…thôi; còn…thôi; (chỉ / có)…mà thôi; mới…thôi; (chỉ)…không thôi.

Example:

Anh chỉ yêu mình em thôi.
I love only you.

Chơi game ít thôi! Coi chừng hư mắt bây giờ.
Don’t play game too much! Your eyes can be damaged.

A: Hôm qua cậu có bị mẹ phạt vì về nhà trễ không?
B: Không, tớ chỉ bị nhắc nhở là lần sau không được về trễ như thế nữa thôi.
A: Did you get scolded for going home late by your mom yesterday?

A: Cuốn sách này có đắt không?
