Some useful sentences used to express feelings

To express your feelings or talk about other people’s feelings in Vietnamese, firstly, you should learn some Vietnamese vocabulary about emotions through the post: Từ vựng tiếng Việt theo chủ đề cảm xúc

To express your current feelings, you can use the following sentences:

• <Đại từ nhân xưng ngôi thứ nhất + (từ chỉ mức độ) + từ vựng chỉ cảm xúc>. Example: Tôi buồn (I’m sad); Tớ hơi lo (I’m a little worried); Em rất sợ (I’m very scared)…
• <Đại từ nhân xưng ngôi thứ nhất + cảm thấy / thấy + (từ chỉ mức độ) + từ vựng chỉ cảm xúc>. Example: Tôi cảm thấy lo (I feel worried); Con cảm thấy rất buồn (I feel very sad); Anh thấy rất vui (I feel very happy);…
• <(Đại từ nhân xưng ngôi thứ nhất) + từ vựng chỉ cảm xúc + quá / lắm!>. Example: Em vui lắm! (I’m very happy); Mệt quá! (I’m so tired);…
• <Thật là + từ vựng chỉ cảm xúc> or <Từ vựng chỉ cảm xúc + thật đấy> (These two sentences are not used to talk about other people’s feelings). Example: Thật là vui (It’s fun); Thật là chán quá đi (It’s so boring); Mệt thật đấy (I’m so tired); Buồn thật đấy (I’m so sad);…

Situation 1
