So sánh nhất (Superlative)

– Structure:

Subject+ (verb) + adjective + nhất

When verbs used in sentences are muốn, thích, ghét,…, you can combine them with nouns or noun phrases as follow: Subject+ muốn / thích / ghét / … + nouns / noun phrases + nhất

– Example:

Lan học giỏi nhất lớp.
Lan is the best student in the class.

Trong nhà tớ, mẹ luôn là người thức dậy sớm nhất.
In my family, my mom is always the person who gets up the earliest.

Minh là người cao nhất lớp.
Minh is the tallest person in the class.

Ai đến sớm nhất sẽ nhận được một phần quà bí mật.
Who comes the earliest will receive a secret gift.

Trong lớp, người mà cậu thân nhất là ai thế?
In your class, who are you closest to?

Con yêu mẹ nhất trên đời.
Mom, I love you more than anyone else in the world.

Đây là cái cây cao nhất trong làng.
This is the tallest tree in the village.

Tớ thích màu xanh lá cây nhất.
I like green the most.

Mẹ tớ nấu ăn rất ngon. Trong số những món mà mẹ nấu, tớ thích nhất là món cà ri.
My mom cooks very well. Among the dishes my mom cooks, I like curry the most.

Trong nhà, tớ là người nhỏ nhất nên rất được mọi người chiều chuộng.
In my family, I’m the youngest person so I’m very spoiled by everyone.
